Marathon Special Products, a Bowling Green, Ohio-based provider of electrical and electronic components, has released a new addition to its line of enclosed power distribution blocks (PDB) line. The new products feature enhanced touch-proof protection, and they are UL listed and designed to meet the new spacing requirements with elevated SCCR ratings per UL508A and NEC2005.
The new enclosed PDBs also feature a smaller profile, lower wire range approval (#2-14) and a modular design that allows snapping of any number of poles together, the company adds. The PDBs can be used for variety of applications, including solar combiner and inverter panels.
