Germany-based Kirchner Solar Group has unveiled the PV-MobiLab, a mobile test laboratory for PV modules.
According to the company, the PV-MobiLab enables the execution of performance measurements (flash tests) under STC conditions with a sun simulator and electroluminescence and thermal imaging tests during a single working cycle.
The whole testing procedure can be adjusted to fit the specific requirements of the installation, Kirchner Solar says. In addition, strings can be adjusted anew on-site, and faulty modules can be replaced immediately.
