groSolar, a White River Junction, Vt.-based solar integration firm, has named Bob Maynard vice president of Northwest distribution sales.
Maynard was the president and co-owner of renewable energy distributor Energy Outfitters before the company merged with groSolar in December 2006. During the transition to groSolar, Maynard coordinated the integration of the Energy Outfitters inventory into that of groSolar.
Maynard currently sits on the board of the Oregon Solar Energy Industry Association and the Josephine County (Oregon) Renewable Energy Task Force. He was also appointed to the Oregon Governor's Renewable Energy Working Group.
