Taiwan-based thin-film PV module manufacturer NexPower has renamed all of its NT-series modules with at least 155 W output Xtreme+.
The company recently started mass production of its latest NT-series modules with 155 W of power output. The series has reached more than a 10% conversion efficiency, according to NexPower.
Xtreme+ modules use an amorphous silicon and multicrystalline silicon tandem technology as the base, which allows the Xtreme+ module to drop its power output much more slowly than crystalline when performing under a higher-temperature environment, the company says.
