Nextronex Inc. has debuted its new family of Ray-Max Power Island solar inverters for the North American market. The systems are designed as either stand-alone units or in a distributed configuration.
The company says the transformerless systems, which range in size from 150 kW to 1.8 MW, are UL 1741-certified and designed for a 1,000 V DC configuration. The peak efficiency rating on the product is greater than 98%, Netronex adds.
The Power Island set-up includes the inverters, DC power strips, breaker boxes, combiner boxes, and system control and monitoring. A GFDI system, ‘weather station,’ and 20-year extended inverter warranty are optional.
