Ohio-based Nextronex Inc. has produced a new interactive Web interface for solar field performance tracking. The company says the program allows customers to access their data over the Internet.
In addition to its technical functionality, Nextronex says the interface was developed to show results in terms an electric consumer would appreciate, such as numbers of light bulbs and other more familiar measurements. Thus, it can be customized to show streaming data to the consumer.
‘Selling energy to a customer is, in most cases, the primary purpose of installing a solar system,’ says Dillon Ashton, vice president of engineering at Nextronex. ‘Accurate metering and storage and retrieval of metering data are required for this purpose. Accessing the metering data from our system is now easy, even for the customers with multiple sites to monitor.’Â
