Northwire Technical Cable, a provider of technical and retractile cables, has named Mark Johnson vice president of operations. In this role, he will be responsible for manufacturing, quality, Six Sigma and Lean at Northwire facilities in Osceola, Wis., and Santa Teresa, N.M.
Johnson brings to Northwire 19 years of manufacturing experience in quality assurance, process improvement and supply management. Most recently, he was Lean Sigma Champion of global operations for an electronic manufacturing services company. Prior to that role, Johnson's functions included director of operational excellence, director of manufacturing operations, and director of cost management, Lean and Six Sigma.
