NRG Systems, a Hinesburg, Vt.-headquartered manufacturer of measurement equipment, has launched a new solar resource assessment system.
Like its complete measurement systems developed for wind measurement, NRG Systems' solar resource assessment system includes a tower, sensors, a data logger and a communications module – everything a developer needs to assess a site's solar potential, the company says.
The low-cost, off-grid system is designed to be easy to transport and install, making it ideal for multiple deployments, NRG Systems adds.
