Silver Bluff Village, a skilled nursing facility located in Canton, N.C., has completed the installation of a 32-panel solar hot water system from Asheville, N.C.-based SolTherm. According to SolTherm, the installation will cut the 195-resident facility's hot water costs by 10%.
The system was installed using SolTherm's NoCapEx solution – a clean energy program that provides immediate hot water savings and long-term cost predictability with no capital investment, the company explains. SolTherm is responsible for all operations and maintenance of the system.
