Odersun AG, a manufacturer of customized building-integrated PV products, has published Solarmodule-Designer, a software tool that allows users to design individually fitted solar modules. The configuration software is designed for architects and planners in search of customizable photovoltaic elements.
The Solarmodule-Designer enables the user to create solar modules optimized for individual building projects and systems. Size, form appearance, build-up and materials can be modified in detail to fit applications such as solar-integrated roofs and façades. The tool is designed to be intuitive and easy to use, Odersun says.
A special feature for the user is the export function, with its detailed PDF summary of the parameters chosen and an additional CAD version of the user's individually designed solar module for download. The Odersun Solarmodule-Designer is free of charge and can be accessed online here.
