Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum, a provider of vacuum solutions for use in manufacturing and analytical processes, has released the Dryvac pump series, featuring dry screw technology.
According to the company, this technology contributes to the effective automation of solar panel mass production. The pumps are ideal for load-lock applications and are resistant against dust, vapors and particles. They effectively pump light gases, as well as toxic and corrosive gases, such as NF3.
Relevant pump parameters can be visualized during operation via a touch-screen monitor. For pump control, there are multiple sensors, such as temperature control with warning functions, and a pressure sensor for monitoring the exhaust pressure, the company adds. The data of the integrated frequency converter can also be visualized.
