Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum, a supplier of vacuum systems for use in manufacturing, industrial and high-tech processes, has developed a new system, the Sogovac/Ruvac combination. The systems will be presented at the 24th European Photovoltaic Solar and Energy Conference and Exhibition in Hamburg, Germany.
According to the company, the product's compact design provides maximum benefit for minimal investment. The production-proven system has been designed especially for fast pump-down cycles, making it ideal for load lock and light-duty applications.
With its Sogovac-type primary pump, the system offers high suction speed and low power consumption. Maintenance intervals comparable to those of dry pump systems guarantee economical operation, the company adds.
The system is available in modular packages with pumping speeds ranging from 500 cubic meters/h to 2000 cubic meters/h.
