The Ohio Department of Development has released three competitive requests for proposals (RFPs) for Ohio Third Frontier's 2010 fiscal year.
Ohio Third Frontier has tailored its programming to become an investment partner in industries such as wind, solar photovoltaics, biomass and energy storage.
Formal proposals will be accepted until Sept. 18, with program awards to be made in December.
‘With a focus on emerging economic sectors, Ohio Third Frontier expands and accelerates commercialization, creating new companies and clusters with innovative applications,’ says Lisa Patt-McDaniel, interim director of the Ohio Department of Development.
In keeping with Ohio Third Frontier's commitment to transparency, proposals will be evaluated independently and externally and then will be reviewed by the Ohio Third Frontier Commission before final approval by the State Controlling Board.
