Houston-based ONTILITY has released the EcoTech Solar and Green Business technology platform. The product is built on a software as a service (SaaS), Web 2.0 and cloud architecture, with NetSuite, SuiteApps and SuiteCloud at its core.
The EcoTech platform features five EcoTech modules and portals that combined, provide technology and tools for all residential and commercial-scale solar projects, the company says.
‘We realized there was a need for a complete end-to-end software platform that is dedicated to helping move solar projects from analysis to design to quote to installation to utility interconnection more efficiently,’ states Tom Pash, CEO of ONTILITY.
The platform provides access to customer, product and resource information; real-time inventory and pricing; real-time project visibility; and dashboards for tracking orders and installations. It can also seamlessly integrate to retail electric provider back-end and Web-based systems, as well as provide solar and energy-efficiency site analysis, audit software and tools, the company adds.
