The OPDE Group has launched a new data control center at its headquarters in Fustinana (Navarra), Spain, where the company says its RIOS subsidiary will monitor and manage, in real time, all inverters and trackers on solar farms promoted by the group in Spain and Italy.
The new center is designed and implemented entirely by the RIOS company. It will monitor more than 7,000 trackers and 21,000 solar photovoltaic solar farm inverters, representing over 73 MW of power, the company says.
Applications include enabling the projects' performance ratios to be calculated, as well as providing statistics on the uptime of the solar farms. Monthly and quarterly reports can be sent to consumers and businesses, and annual surveys can be carried out on the farms' operation.
