Open Energy Corp., a Solana Beach, Calif.-based developer and distributor of solar energy products, has hired Jeff Stein as the company's new chief financial officer.
Stein's new responsibilities include financial planning, cash management, Sarbanes-Oxley implementation and 404 compliance, among others. He brings to the position 25 years of corporate finance and management experience in accounting, systems development, public reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Prior to joining Open Energy, Stein served as executive vice president of finance for Priority Pharmacy.
Cheryl Bostater, Open Energy's former chief financial officer, will assume the responsibilities of chief operating officer, the company adds.
