Open Energy Corp. says it has shipped a total of 14,103 SolarSave PV tiles and related balance-of-system equipment in satisfaction of $2.2 million in purchase orders received in April and May from Eagle Roofing Products.
‘Our building-integrated products are designed to be installed simultaneously with standard roofing tiles, providing cost savings and aesthetic advantages,’ says David Saltman, chairman and CEO of Open Energy.
‘Eagle Solar Roof [products], powered by SolarSave, are now offered in 14 states, and we believe the interest in our products through Eagle Roofing and other distribution partners is continuing to gain momentum throughout the country,’ he adds.
