Pacific Blue Energy Corp., a publicly traded developer of renewable energy projects, has implemented Competitive Energy Insight Inc. (CEI) software, an economic and financial analysis tool specifically designed for wholesale solar photovoltaic projects.
The CEI software is suited to perform competitive project and market evaluations of projects in order to utilize investment tax credits and renewable energy credits, as well as complex partnering and financing arrangements.
Pacific Blue Energy Corp. says it will utilize the software to verify participants in each proposed project, with a focus on ensuring their financial stability. The software is expected to help management analyze a greater number of potential projects in a shorter period of time – helping to fast-track the development process and evaluate the potential for strong financial returns.
