Pacific Gas and Electric Co. (PG&E) has commissioned the SOLON Corp. to build a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 2 MW in California.
The pilot power plant project is part of a five-year program in which PG&E expects to develop 250 MW of solar photovoltaic power in California. SOLON Corp. is a fully owned subsidiary of Berlin-based SOLON SE.
