Peirce Welding and Fabrication Inc. (PWF) in Bethel, Pa., has completed a 303 kW PV system at its facility. The company hired Dean M. Arnold of DEANofSolar.com to perform the engineering, procurement, and construction of the project.
DEANofSolar.com teamed with Solar System Erectors Enterprise LLC on the mechanical installation, while C.M. High performed electrical work. The installation features 1,122 Suntech 270 W modules, one Power-One 300 CENTRAL US inverter, a PWF rack, and various balance-of-system components provided by C.M. High.
According to DEANofSolar.com, the system will produce 100% of PWF's energy needs, or roughly 340,000 kWh per year. DEANofSolar.com plans to provide system monitoring, as well as operations and maintenance services.
