Washington Crossing, Pa.-based Morningstar, a supplier of solar charged controllers and inverters, recently released its SureSine Pure Sine Wave Inverter.
This inverter is a 300-watt (12-volt DC input) toroidol transformer designed for high surge capability, efficiency and electronic protections, the company says. It was developed to meet the needs of rural photovoltaic (PV) electrification requiring AC power, as well as small PV systems on remote cabins, weekend homes, caravans, boats and more. Morningstar adds that it does not include any moving parts that could be prone to failure, such as a small cooling fan.
