Phaesun GmbH, a systems provider based in Memmingen, Germany, has teamed with several partner companies and the German Solar Industry Association to teach technical and economical details of solar technology to 60 Uganda-based participants for one week.
Representatives from 30 Ugandan solar companies, as well as potential industry clients and bank representatives, took part in the training workshop, called ‘Develop Solar!’, in Uganda's capital city, Kampala.
The companies also installed three solar power plants on the roofs of the training center during the workshop.
