Netherlands-based Photon Energy NV says its Photon Energy Operations subsidiary has signed operations and maintenance (O&M) contracts for five photovoltaic plants owned by WIS Energo in the Czech Republic with a combined capacity of 13.5 MW.
‘Retroactive cuts to feed-in tariffs or taxes, such as the ones imposed on Czech solar investors, shift the focus of investors more and more toward getting the most out of their assets,’ says Georg Hotar, CEO of Photon Energy.
In the last year, Photon Energy Operations has expanded its O&M portfolio to almost 140 MW, representing PV plants in eight countries on two continents. Photon Energy Operations also delivers regular service interventions and delivers spare parts to approximately 100 MW of additional facilities in several European countries.
