PierTech Systems and PV Racking have partnered to develop a construction system for ground-mounted PV installations. This partnership combines PierTech's helical-pier system (a foundation product) with PV Racking's clamp-free racking system.
PierTech's patented helical piers provide a quick and easy foundation solution, allowing customers to avoid using concrete, thus decreasing costly labor and avoiding long cure times, according to the companies. PV Racking's technology allows modules to slide into place for a seamless appearance, the companies add.
