Positive Energy, Conergy Supplying Greek Photovoltaic Project

aki Vogiatzis SA has awarded the contract for equipment supply, project design and construction of a photovoltaic project in Greece to contractor Positive Energy and the Greek subsidiary of the German company Conergy. This 5 MW project is the largest PV park in Greece to date, according to Positive Energy. The park will be located in an area of approximately 200,000 square meters in region of Drama. The park will consist of Conergy PowerPlus photovoltaic panels and Conergy CIS 540 S type central inverter stations. It is estimated that it will produce over 7,100,000kWh per year. The project is expected to be finalized and commissioned before the end of the year. The Bank of Cyprus is serving as the project's chief lender.
