Power Electronics says its Freesun HEC-UL inverters have been certified and listed by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) to UL1741 second edition and CSA C22.2 No.107.1-01 standards.

The company recently introduced upgraded versions of its Freesun HEC utility-scale solar inverters, offering 24 models ranging from 160 kVA to 1,200 kVA that, paired together, can deliver over 2 MW. Also, Power Electronics' 1,000 V DC class offers extended MPPT voltage ranges in four different AC voltages: 208, 330, 360 and 390, covering all commercial- and utility-scale PV facilities.

Freesun HEC-UL inverters include their own control board, power stage and cooling system, sharing common DC and AC buses, that work together commanded by the master, the company notes. The HEC-UL is equipped with a robust outdoor enclosure made of stainless steel and protected against solar heat gains. Also, Power Electronics' iCOOL system offers full-power operation up to 50 degrees C.
