China-based Powerway says it has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction contract to build an 18 MW PV facility in Thailand.
The company is working with an unnamed thin-film PV manufacturer and will also provide the mounting system used in the project. Thailand represents a significant growing market for PV development, Powerway says.
