Practical Instruments, a Pasadena, Calif.-based provider of solar panels, has established partnerships with three Southern California-based installers of solar power systems – Energy Options, Permacity Corp. and Advanced Solar Electric.
From the agreements, the three companies can install Practical Instruments' Heliotube solar panels. Heliotube uses less silicon than traditional solar panels and is therefore less expensive, the company says.
‘As we prepare to bring our product to market, having well-established and knowledgeable partners such as Energy Options, Permacity and Advanced Solar Electric is integral to our success,’ says Brad Hines, Practical Instruments' chief executive officer.
