Precision Process Equipment Inc., a Niagara Falls, N.Y.-based supplier of turnkey customized wet processing systems for the solar industry and other industries, has shipped two roll-to-roll plating system lines for two independent solar manufacturers.
The two systems shipped are part of Precision Process' line of Excellite FSP processing systems. Excellite FSP is a roll-to-roll, continuous strip electroplating and wet processing system designed principally for flex substrate plating, which includes chemical deposition, electroless and electroplating for photovoltaic applications, flexible displays, OLEDs and other continuous products.
‘We have installed many of these systems at multiple electronic firms throughout the U.S. and worldwide,’ says Doug Stewart, vice president of international sales and marketing. ‘The opportunity to work so closely with two of the bigger players in the solar application arena only solidifies our choice to focus many of our attentions on the alternative energy market.’
