Primex Farms, a grower/processor of pistachios and trader of dried fruits and nuts, and solar developer Cenergy Power have begun construction on a 1.1 MW solar photovoltaic system at Primex's Wasco, Calif., pistachio facility.
The system is expected to generate over 1.7 million kWh of power annually. As part of the project agreement, Cenergy Power will be providing 10 years of scheduled operations and maintenance work, including touch-free panel cleanings, preventative maintenance and repair, and overall system warranties.Â
