Principal Solar Inc. (PSI) has acquired the 3 MW Powerhouse One LLC (PH1) solar power farm, which consists of four 750 kW ground-mounted PV systems, located in Fayetteville, Tenn.
PH1 was built by vis solis Inc., the Tennessee-based subsidiary of vis solis GmbH, and commissioned in November 2011. The plant has a 20-year agreement with Fayetteville Public Utilities that is backed by the Tennessee Valley Authority.
‘The goal of this acquisition is to add to our portfolio of solar generation while attracting similar assets to our model,’ says PSI President and CEO Michael Gorton.
