Pro-Tech Energy Solutions LLC, a self-funded energy services company serving commercial properties in the Mid-Atlantic region, has installed solar photovoltaic generation systems on the roofs of two Fond du Lac Cold Storage refrigerated warehouses in Edison, N.J.
The systems – a 591 kW installation at 78-90 Saw Mill Pond Rd. and a 417 kW system installed at 275 Mill Rd. – will supply enough power for approximately 45% of Fond du Lac's annual electric usage, Pro-Tech Energy Solutions says.
Pro-Tech worked with the refrigeration facility to secure financing through a U.S. Treasury grant.
