Spain-based PROINSO, which specializes in the distribution of modules, inverters, trackers and fixed structures for solar photovoltaic installations, has become a point of collection for solar photovoltaic modules for the PV Cycle Association, a nonprofit organization specializing in the global management and recycling of waste.
The agreement makes it possible for the 892 companies in the PROINSO network of installers, as well as companies that work with them, to send any type of photovoltaic module to PROINSO's warehouses in Spain, Italy and Greece for recycling.
PROINSO says it also plans to offer its installer network discounts on the purchase of new modules and additional bonuses based on the number of kW devoted to recycling.
