Switzerland-based inverter manufacturer Sputnik Engineering has opened the first U.S. office for its SolarMax business unit in Atlanta. The office will provide sales and research and development support for the company's U.S. operations.
SolarMax says it is in the process of completing UL testing and certification of its commercial- and industrial-grade PV inverters for use in the U.S. and hopes to have its PV inverters available this summer.
