The supervisory board of Q-Cells SE has agreed to chief financial officer (CFO) Dr. Hartmut Schuning's request for the premature termination of his executive board contract and begun a search for a replacement. The company has also appointed Dr. Nedim Cen as an interim successor.
Schuning headed Q-Cells' financial department for over five years. He has also worked as CFO of the KION Group, a spin-off of Linde and the world's second-largest manufacturer of fork-lift trucks. Previously, Cen spent 15 years in management consulting and investment banking, with positions at Credit Suisse and McKinsey. He is currently managing director of Munich, Germany-based Alvarez & Marsal, which specializes in financial consultancy and interim management.
