Q-Cells North America says it has completed two solar facilities in Ontario and has been awarded three additional projects. Starwood Energy Global Group LLC, a private investment firm focused on energy infrastructure projects, worked with Q-Cells on the completed projects.
The two solar facilities were awarded a 20-year power purchase agreement under the Ontario Power Authority's Renewable Energy Standard Offer Program. Boris Schubert, chief operating officer of Q-Cells North America, led the development of the projects.
Q-Cells says it has now secured a total of 120 MW of solar projects in North America in the past year.
