Ray Angelini Inc. (RAI), based in Sewell, N.J., has completed a 154.44 kW solar power array at Princeton Racquet Club (PRC) in Princeton, N.J. The project is expected to meet 97.7% of the building's electrical consumption needs.
According to RAI project manager Jason Kaplan, the system was installed on a standing-seam metal roof measuring approximately 32,160 square feet. The system uses 702 Trina 220 W panels, an AET flush-mounted racking system and a Satcon inverter.
‘The building is nearly ideally situated due south, which allows more sunlight incident on the solar modules, thereby maximizing their energy output over the course of the day,’ Kaplan adds.
