Renewable Energy Corp. (REC), a manufacturer of solar modules, has developed the SmartFit Solution, a new product concept that combines a frameless solar module with a mounting system as a single integrated unit.
According to the company, the SmartFit Solution allows for faster solar installation times and lower balance-of-system costs. REC plans to formally unveil the concept for the product at the upcoming Solar Power International conference next month.
