REFU Elektronik GmbH, a Germany-based developer of customized electronics, has released the REFUSOL 333K, a 333 kW solar inverter.
The inverter allows for the connection of long strings and can be used in outdoor installations without requiring the use of a concrete box, due to its IP65 protection, the company says. Its transformerless 690 VAC output voltage results in reduced losses and a significant reduction of cabling costs, REFU Elektronik adds. Efficiency is over 98.5%.
The inverter is expected to be available in early 2011.
