Renova Energy Corp., a residential and commercial solar developer based in Palm Desert, Calif., has been awarded a contract to install a 409 kW system for the Coachella Valley Water District at its headquarters in Palm Desert, Calif.
The system is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2011 and is being financed through a power purchase agreement (PPA) in a joint venture between Renova Energy and Pristine Sun. The PPA will allow the water district to finance the system over 20 years with no initial down payment, Renova Energy says.
