Vision Solar and Zing Solar, two residential rooftop solar installers based in Utah, have announced a merger agreement. Once the deal is completed by year-end, the combined entity will be named ION Solar and be positioned to expand across strategic markets. Existing operations of ION Solar will include California, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, South Carolina, New Jersey and its home state of Utah.
