Germany-based manufacturer RESOL has added three new controllers to its DeltaSol solar controller line: the DeltaSol AL, DeltaSol BS Plus and DeltaSol BX. All three controllers are TUV-certified and equipped with a RESOL VBus data interface, which allows for controller connections to additional modules, such as remote displays and data loggers.
As with all RESOL controllers, a large system-monitoring display and an intuitive interface ensure user-friendly controller operation, the company says. The DeltaSol AL differential controller includes all vital functions required in a standard solar thermal system.
The updated DeltaSol BS Plus controller has improved software and hardware and now offers new functions. For instance, the controller is now pre-programmed with 10 basic solar thermal system layouts, including one layout that includes heat-dump functionality.
The DeltaSol BS Plus controller is equipped with semiconductor relays for pump speed control, features energy metering and also has a reliable function control, according to the company. The controller also has a drainback option, a thermal disinfection function, various cooling functions and a time-controlled thermostat function.
