RESOL has introduced its Smart Display SD3, which is designed for simple connection to RESOL solar thermal controllers with RESOL VBus and used for visualizing collector temperature, storage tank temperature and the energy yield of a solar thermal system.
The SD3 has three displays: one six-digit and two four-digit seven-segment LED displays. The use of high-efficient LEDs and filter glass assures a high optical brilliance and good readability even in poor visibility conditions and from a larger distance, the company says.
RESOL adds that the SD3 does not need an additional power supply, as it is supplied with power by the controller via the RESOL Vbus. This two-wire bus allows RESOL controllers and additional modules to interchange data.
