Honolulu, Hawaii-based solar energy firm RevoluSun says it has added six new jobs and moved into an additional 2,900 square feet of space in the Pan Am Building, located at 1600 Kapiolani Ave. in Honolulu.
The company anticipates adding 15 more jobs by year-end. New employees include electrical and mechanical engineers, as well as accounting personnel.
‘As Hawaii's fastest-growing solar energy firm, we're pleased to continue to add green collar jobs to Hawaii as RevoluSun expands to serve the Neighbor Islands as well as increased demand on Oahu,’ says Eric Carlson, RevoluSun partner. ‘We expect to triple the amount of work we do in 2011 over 2010 and are working to set up crews on Maui and the Big Island.’
