Rosen Joins Union Bank As VP Of Solar Finance

Union Bank NA, based in San Francisco, has hired Gregory Rosen as vice president of solar finance. Rosen will be in charge of expanding Union Bank's solar business activities and offerings. He will investigate and finance a variety of solar projects ranging from utility scale to residential, as well as expand the bank's services to solar developers, manufacturers and installers.

Before joining Union Bank, Rosen developed, executed and populated a solar fund with Citibank for Helio Micro Utility (HMU), a solar finance start-up. Prior to his work at HMU, for eight years he was a director of structured finance for PowerLight and SunPower, where he financed several major projects, such as the 14 MW solar system at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, and he contributed to the development of state and federal solar policy.
