Sam's Club, the wholesale division of Wal-Mart Stores Inc., has partnered with Borrego Solar Systems Inc. and BP Solar to provide in-store informational kiosks to promote the long-term benefits of solar energy.
The displays explain how solar power works, the design and installation process, how much energy will be saved, the typical cost of a system and all available incentives and rebates.
Through the partnership, purchasers are also entitled to a significant discount on the cost of their solar energy systems, saving an average of $500 or more in addition to receiving all applicable federal, state and local rebates and tax credits.
