Satcon Technology Corp., a provider of utility-scale power conversion products for the renewable energy market, says it has signed a master service agreement with Borrego Solar to provide 35 MW of its products.
As part of this agreement, Borrego Solar will utilize the entire Satcon solution portfolio, including PowerGate Plus, Satcon Solstice, Satcon Equinox and Satcon Prism Platform. All of Satcon's offerings include features designed to enable simplified grid interconnection and can be easily integrated into SCADA systems through standardized communication interfaces, the company notes.
Borrego Solar's projects will be a combination of military, commercial and utility-scale solar installations and are expected to be installed over the next 12 months.
