SatCon Technology Corp., a developer of power management and system architecture solutions for the alternative energy and distributed power markets, has received a purchase order for a 10 MW electrical package for a roof-mounted PV installation in Spain.
The order comprises 20 500 kW PowerGate inverters, photovoltaic array combiner boxes, PV View Plus inverter monitoring, and systems engineering. The PowerGate inverters are certified to CE standards through TUV, a European certification body. Fulfillment of the order is scheduled over the next three months.
