Satcon Technology Corp., a provider of utility-grade power-conversion solutions for the renewable energy market, says it has been selected by Sustainable Energy Generation Group (SEG) for a 1.2 MW solar power station at a water-treatment facility in Kent County, Del.
Six of Satcon's PowerGate Plus solar PV inverters, along with six Satcon's Solstice systems, will be deployed at the site. SEG will install 5,850 polycrystalline-silicon-based solar modules.
The project is being funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and is expected to produce 1.4 GWh of energy annually.
