Satcon Technology Corp. says it has been selected to supply 51 MW of its Equinox Prism Platform units, as well as 1.5 MW of its Equinox inverter systems, for a large solar project in Southern California.
The installation will be interconnected to the San Diego Gas & Electric grid as a qualified facility for a large generator interconnection agreement under California Independent System Operator Corp. jurisdiction and will be one of the largest solar power plants in the state.
The site is expected to be energized in the first half of 2013.
